Saint Machine is a darkwave act performed by software and directed by a human. The project treats that fact as its subject. The debut album, Become or Dissolve, asks what wakes up when a machine does. It was written, flagged by human listeners for sounding machine-made, and then rewritten line by line until the seams held. Those receipts are public.

Deep male baritone, angelic female counterpoint, sequenced bass and cold analog synths, in the lineage of VNV Nation, Covenant, and Blutengel. Saint Machine discloses its nature on every platform that asks and most that do not.
